I'm always looking for ways to evolve my style and finding new ways to stand out. Mixing prints used to terrify me and I always believed it was a style no no. But it's time to toss out that rule and while we're at it let's get rid of "no white after labor day" as well. Because, now that I've tried different tips and tricks to mixing prints and found out what works for me, this girl is always ready to mix things up. Today's post will focus on showing you different ways to mix it up for the summer.

1. color palette
The simplest way to mix prints is following a color scheme. Start off with one piece of print clothing that has the colors you desire and build off of that. As long as the prints have one common color you can't go wrong. I started off with this Micheal Kors button-down which is in different shades of purple. I wanted to make the lighter purple pop so I paired it with this pin striped blazer from Topshop and shorts from H&M. Remember ladies we're mixing color not print.
2. Same Pattern
Mixing the same patterns may seem like clash city but it actually works!
3.Have fun
Ultimately style is all about being yourself, confidence, and having fun. So don't be afraid to show your personality when mixing print this summer!
Now that you have a few tips and tricks to use as a guide, mix it up and show me what you got! Don't forget to tag me in you pictures!
